About me
Tenielle Bennett is a Métis educator from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, teaching elementary and Jr. high music with Edmonton Public School Board. Passionate about sharing Métis music through storytelling, song, and dance, she leads the First Nations, Métis and Inuit team at her school and serves on the Alberta Orff Chapter board. Tenielle has presented at numerous professional development sessions and symposiums on Métis culture, history, and music, offering educators practical ways to incorporate them into the classroom. She holds a B.Ed from the University of Saskatchewan and is currently completing her Master’s of Education at the University of Alberta.
